Did They Remove The Good Part Of My Brain? Do I Even Have A Good Part Left?

Vodka Mom and I have to get a divorce and now I have to marry Suburban Correspondent.

She helped me find my Blog Roll. I was looking in the wrong place. I was not up on my Blogger words so people were writing me things like:

Dear Lost Brain Waves,

Just click on "add a gadget."

And I'd write back:

Dear Person Trying To Help Me,

I don't HAVE that and now I don't even want to PUT IT BACK even if I do find it because I think my time would be better spent losing more things.

I had no idea about customize and was all up in the layout 'hood. I've started putting the list back together but now I have an abnormal fear of anything I touch. If you want to be on my blog links, please send me your url and ON YOU GO.

Heidi and I were talking about this; is BlogHer's ad now bigger than the state of California?

Shelfari is still MIA. I give up.

End of chat.

  3. Yeah for God's sake, all this BLOGHER crap has become too much, like Oprah on a ham....everywhere you go people are pimping it. It is totally like the actual Oprah: too much, too big, and too bloody everywhere....everyone has been sucked in by it....you buncha whores...:)

  4. I never did figure out BlogHer. And I'm surprised that the magic word "customize" did the trick for you; when I typed it, I didn't think it would be too helpful. I just hope Vodka Mom doesn't get madly jealous. You know how she is when she's sober.

  5. I dumped blogher a couple of weeks back (not saying everyone should, just that I did) because they were taking up too damned much room on my site, and then wrote me a note to tell me that they weren't taking up enough room on my site, and would I reposition them so they could have major real estate and still pay ghetto fees. Screw that.
The 20 bucks every three months that I was making was hardly worth "selling out".

  9. Suburban Correspondent definitely needs to take another spouse--her husband is gone entirely too frequently. Are you up for being the stepmom to 6 kids though?!

  11. I just got "approved" to post blogher ads... I'm looking for more of an Illinois sized add, though. CA *is* awfully big...

I thought I was totally gonna get you through the whole blogroll debaucle... :(

  13. Funny you should say that about these BlogHer ads....everyone I visit, they seem to be trying to attack me and I was starting to wonder if I was just paranoid but those ads really seemed to be almost chasing me. Chasing me AWAY from the material on the blogs I was reading!! You know?? I think it's time for an alternative to BlogHer ads....don't you? In your spare time, why don't you handle that one for all of us...

    :-)

What a ramble tonight in your comment section.

Suzy! No I still don't know how to do the link.. I'm such a rookie. Have to catch up on blogging. You are going to FREAK when you see the pics from this Steel Magnolia wedding I did in North Carolina this weekend. All that was missing was Darryl Hannah riding on the back of a motorcycle with a guy in a bunny suit!
