I'm Such A Liar

Eight days ago I posted Who Wants A Clean House? (scroll down, it's from March 3) I said in that post that my place was pristine and fabulous.

This is a picture I took of my office over the weekend.

Does that look pristine and fabulous to you? I've decided to blame it on my numb hands rather than on, uh, my inability to run three projects out of my old dining room.

So when you read me and imagine where I'm sitting, rest assured I'm sitting in the same muck as you. Only worse.

End of chat.

  1. Boy do you wish I lived next door. I suffer from a psychological inability to tolerate clutter. I know I have friends that invite me over just so I'll clean their house while we chat!

  2. jenn, I have found no way to run 3 businesses out of a space that is
6'x 6'. If I put it all away, I wouldn't do anything all day. Oh wait...there's an idea.

My place looks worse. I stupidly went to the in-building storage area I have and hauled two boxes of seemingly easy-to-dispose-of paper up to be gone through. I started by making "sorting piles." The apartment now looks like something from "Lost Weekend." Moral: leave the boxes in storage.
    Love and aloha,
    Martha Jane

  4. You know, Seinfeld always had a Superman somewhere on set. Maybe your thing is the aerosol can. Or the Matchbox car.

Your workspace looks eerily like mine. But I like your chair better.

  5. amy, I heard that once they either changed the color of the bicycle that hung in the hallway or got rid of it, I can't remember which, and people WROTE IN ABOUT IT. It was quickly moved back to the original.

That looks like a nicely productive creative space to me. (Hmm-could be similar to my office space . ..) Have you ever had experience with a "hoarder"? I work with one - can't even throw out trash, kind of scary . . .
    Hope your tingles are subsiding~

    Hey, Suzy!

It's cool to see the space from which you blog.

Re: the post below: Have you ever tried acupuncture?

  8. Surcie, I've done acupuncture in the past..the numbness is just now going away so let's hope it was just some random nerve pinching.

And yes, that frightening office space is where all the majic happens.
