Don't Let This Happen To You

This is what too much sun, smoking and drinking does to your face. There is a wee bit of photoshopping. The line drawn between her lips, her Howdy Doody lines and the lines on either side of her face. Also the right outline of her nose and both nostrils. Since this is a mug shot, I'm guessing the eyeliner was put in later by a very tentative hand. The dye job speaks for itself.

God I need a life.

How old is she? Look below her picture.
48. AND NO THAT ISN'T ME. Haters.

  1. Why not? She's sooo pretty!

    jk

Ummm, I knew a girl worse. She vacationed at Club Med (where I used to work) ALL THE TIME! Never wore sunscreen and even showed up once with huge black skin cancer scar on her nose and STILL bathed in the sun without protection! I'm still traumatized!

  3. Who the hell is that?

I love me some eyeliner but honey sometimes you need to step back and look in the mirror. Why oh why would they photochop it in later?

  4. She's 48? Then I'm a freakin' beauty queen. I'm 48 and I don't think I've got any wrinkles yet.

    Knock on wood.

  5. Scary, Some people ask me why I do not tan myself in summer, to the point they get on my nerves.

The picture above is why not!

    Wish you a good week

  7. Shall I send her my plastic surgeon's number?

    No...wait....that won't help this one.

  9. And THAT is why I don't wear my glasses. I so fear that is what I may look like close up without the benefit of blurred vision. Or the benefit of sun, smokes, and booze. At least she has her reasons...

  12. I'm 67 and don't look like that! Jeez, some people just have bad genes and the sun, etc. doesn't help matters.

  15. Which are the Howdy Doody lines? The ones starting at her nose and going out like a triangle?
I haven't been in the sun in ages so I guess I'm okay, pale, but okay.

Big news from Hawaii. Since moving here, I wear really dark sunglasses w/UV etc. I talked to a plastic surgeon who said the reason I don't have as many wrinkles around my eyes as some people is that wearing really dark sunglasses helps keep us from squinting which causes wrinkling around the eyes.
    Aloha, MJ
P.S. My friend Joy was forced by her mother to put Scotch tape on her forehead as a child to prevent wrinkles there. It worked, or maybe she was just born lucky.

  18. Did she fall asleep in a tanning booth while smoking? How does that happen?

  19. Very scary!! I am glad that I let people mock me for my extreme whiteness!!! I would rather be a pale ghost than a wrinkled up raisin. I always sit in the shade.
