  1. I took Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 in high school. Then I was forced to take Spanish again in college. And, I still only understanding "of" something.

  2. We have a few places like that here, too. They are almost always in places that look like there should be another sign that is put up during the week, like maybe:
    "Almacén Chino del Descuento"

    When I was performing at the standup club in El Paso one Christmas in the 80s, we went across the border to shop. We were able to purchase Baby Jesus in the Manger dolls. Baby Jesus had big, big false eyelashes. The entrance to the religious store where we purchased the dolls looked a lot like this. Feliz Navidad!
