    Hmmm...Tamarind...Is this a Scientology Theatre or have I been out of L.A. too long? If that's the case, "cheap or free" is unlikely....

    Well, I guess if you call the theatre's phone number and they offer a free "personality test," there's our answer...I think they bought up all the real estate on that block a long time ago...

    Oh, I took classes at the Upright Citizen's Theatre in NYC. The shows are cheap or free.

    The classes are not free, but reasonable.

    (Sorry to bring reality into it.)
