And The Winner is....

This is the winner of the Ugly Item Of Clothing Contest. It was also the only entry so even though you all LIED to me all year about how EXCITED you were to enter this contest, it all came down to you're a bunch of liars. i.e. my kind of people.

So this poor lucky bastard wins this Tee Shirt. The very last in a series that Single, Married & Divorced printed. That dot on the shirt is from the camera and isn't on the shirt. No, I'm giving away my dirty laundry. Actually it's kind of a relief that all the contests are over. A year of shoe contests wiped out what little brain I had left. Then the Uproarious CD contests wiped out the rest. Beckie, the winner of one of the CD's is finally getting her prize and I'm also sending out the tee shirt, but AFTER Christmas, so I don't have to stand in line for 2 years. Health update, I'm walking better and my hands are still numb but I can use them more. But I still don't want to stand in line for 2 hours.

End of contests.

    Suzy,
It could be a hideous lie, but somebody just told me that if you send items "flat rate priority mail" (I think there are 3 box sizes to choose from) and buy the postage on line at the USPS web site, then the postal worker will come to your location and pick up the item. Hence, waiting on line for 2 hours is unnecessary. But maybe this is just available in Hawaii, like good weather...
    Aloha,
    MJ

I had every intention of submitting..I swear...It's just that I don't own any sweaters..Let alone horrible xmas sweaters. And you said I couldn't send stuff I found online...So my bad. Will send chuckles soon to make up for it!

  5. Oh I wish I had known about this contest. I have THE best Christmas sweater. I crack it out every year and wear it just to make people uncomfortable! It has jingle bells and everything! Teehee! I'll post a pic after Christmas because I take one every year!

  6. I'm so sorry I failed you. I looked and looked for a tacky sweater, and I swear they must not be selling because I couldn't find a single one, tacky or not. When you let us submit another tacky object instead of a sweater, I thought I was going to be fine. But again, I found absolutely nothing.

I wished I hadn't thrown out this horrible old tacky Santa on which my then-single husband had strategically pinned a pair of Christmas balls. Bet you're glad I threw it out, though.
